Efficient Two-Move Blind Signatures in the Common Reference String Model
نویسندگان
چکیده
Blind signatures provide a mechanism for achieving privacy and anonymity whereby a user gets the signer to sign a message of his choice without the signer learning the content of the message, nor linking message/signature request pairs when he sees the final signature. In this paper, we construct a blind signature that requires minimal interaction (two moves) between the user and the signer, and which results in a signature which is a signature with respect to a standard (i.e. non-blind) signature scheme. The signature request protocol is akin to the classic, blind-unblind methodology used for RSA blind signatures in the random oracle model; whilst the output signature is a standard CamenischLysyanskaya signature in bilinear groups. The scheme is secure in the common reference string model, assuming a discrete logarithm related assumption in bilinear groups; namely a new variant of the LRSW assumption. We provide evidence for the hardness of our new variant of the LRSW by showing it is intractable in the generic group model.

A Short Paper on Blind Signatures from Knowledge Assumptions
This paper concerns blind signature schemes. We focus on two moves constructions, which imply concurrent security. There are known efficient blind signature schemes based on the random oracle model and on the common reference string model. However, constructing two move blind signatures in the standard model is a challenging task, as shown by the impossibility results of Fischlin et al. The rec...
متن کاملRound Optimal Blind Signatures
Constructing round-optimal blind signatures in the standard model has been a long standing open problem. In particular, Fischlin and Schröder recently ruled out a large class of three-move blind signatures in the standard model (Eurocrypt’10). In particular, their result shows that finding security proofs for the well-known blind signature schemes by Chaum, and by Pointcheval and Stern in the s...
متن کاملRound-Optimal Composable Blind Signatures in the Common Reference String Model
We build concurrently executable blind signatures schemes in the common reference string model, based on general complexity assumptions, and with optimal round complexity. Namely, each interactive signature generation requires the requesting user and the issuing bank to transmit only one message each. We also put forward the definition of universally composable blind signature schemes, and show...
متن کاملEquivocal Blind Signatures and Adaptive UC-Security
We study the design of practical blind signatures in the universal composability (UC) setting against adaptive adversaries. We introduce a new property for blind signature schemes that is fundamental for managing adaptive adversaries: an equivocal blind signature is a blind signature protocol where a simulator can construct the internal state of the client so that it matches a simulated transcr...
متن کاملSecurity of Blind Digital Signatures
Blind digital signatures were introduced by Chaum. In this paper, we show how security and blindness properties for blind digital signatures, can be simultaneously defined and satisfied in the common reference string model, assuming an arbitrary one-way trapdoor permutation family. Thus, this paper presents the first complexity-based proof of security for blind signatures.
